MEETING THE NEEDS OF FAMILY LIFE
This project consisted of the design of a spacious lounge area, kitchen, dining room, ‘chill-out’ TV room and four bedrooms. All of these needed to be aesthetically cohesive and suitably premium, whilst accommodating the flexibility required in a modern family home.
Beginning with the lounge, we used a neutral colour palette to create a calm atmosphere, complemented by flourishes of gold to underscore a sense of luxury. This was achieved across soft furnishings, accessories, and larger pieces of furniture like the coffee table.
This visual style carries through into the kitchen/dining area, with the addition of a red and white patterned rug introducing a pop of colour and change in texture. The kitchen presents a streamlined look with integrated cabinetry and appliances for perfect convenience.
Moving upstairs, the master bedroom features a stunning blend of neutral and warm colours to create a cosy retreat for busy parents. This room also comes complete with a statement light fitting and dressing area for a premium and practical feel.
The guest bedroom incorporates some darker tones to give the space its own identity whilst complementing the rest of the show home. The same is true of the bedroom designed for an older child, which introduces a gorgeous shade of green alongside elements that are sure to appeal to any music fan.
Our team was particularly delighted to work on the bedroom for a younger child. This room retains the neutral colours but sets itself apart with a whimsical light fixture, Mickey Mouse-themed wallpaper and a bespoke headboard to match.
Finally, the TV room offers a retreat to sit back, relax and enjoy some entertainment. The plush furniture and sleek TV wall create the perfect ‘chill-out’ space, which is something that all families need when things get hectic.
